The GDO Story
About Good Day Organics
I set up Good Day Organics Ltd in early 2014 with the intention of putting years of experience and worldwide research of organically sourced skincare ingredients to use. I originally started with The Mount Purious. Organic Skincare Range in November 2014 to provide people with an organic selection of 100% pure skin and hair body moisturisers chosen specifically for suitable skin. In February 2015 I launched the GDO Men's Organic Grooming Range to provide my male customers with organic solutions for Beard growth, moisturising and shaving, again with sensitive skin in mind.
From the very start it has always been very important to me to provide the very best products, in the most ethical and eco-friendly way, whilst ensuring it is clear that I adhere to the highest standards to guarantee my customers that what ever product they use, it has been lovely hand formulated and produced to the highest standard using the very best ingredients.
That's why i'm Certified Organic to COSMOS Standard by the UK Soil Association and registered with Cruelty Free International.

My Organic Principles
Based around the organic principles of sustainability and quality produce. Principles which are very important to me:
Support Certified Organic Farmers - I source all my ingredients from sustainable Certified Organic farmers who carefully manage the land and avoid using pesticides and insecticides which cause irreversible damage to the soil and nature around them.
Products Suitable for all Skin Types - My products are Certified Organic, so they are completely suitable for all skin types. The gentle but effective ingredients are free from alcohol, preservatives, fragrances and parabens and are suitable for the whole family
Against Animal Testing - I do not believe in the need for animal testing, I feel it is an ineffective and cruel way to test products. Instead I use tried and tested ingredients sourced from organic suppliers and human guinea pigs during product development. I'm registered with 'Cruelty Free International' and very proud to carry the 'Leaping Bunny' on all my products. Read my Animal Testing Policy Here
Sustainable Packaging - My packaging is sourced as responsibly as possible. I use a carbon neutral printing company who use FSC sourced paper and print exclusively with vegetable based inks. All packaging boxes are 100% recyclable and our glass packaging can be recycled or reused in a number of different ways.
Support Local Worthwhile Causes - Good Day Organics support local worthwhile causes. Donations from each sale of our products go to these local causes, as we develop our ranges we will try to get more and more involved.
Who We Support
In 2016 I decided to take a new approach to how I support worthwhile causes through Good Day Organics. In 2015 I choose to support well established organisations who provided a specific service or aim for a particular group of people. As much as I enjoyed supporting these organisations, I feel limited by the direct result our contributions have, especially as they are classed as corporate donations which may get used in admin costs.
So I have made the decision to opt for a new strategy. From March 2016 on wards I take a percentage of all sales and using the money to purchase and donate to causes I want to support in the time. From month to month that could be purchasing coats from a charity shop to donate to homeless shelters, or donating food to a local food bank, donating money or food to a local animal shelter.
